We are delighted to welcome our 2026-2027 Fellows-in-Residence and Civil Discourse Fellows! This group brings together exemplary scholars across philosophy, law, political science, and public policy to examine how communication, institutions, and technology shape social and political life. Their work spans dialogue and its ethics, environmental justice and polarization, democratic governance and accountability, and the role of emerging technologies in public reasoning. Combining theoretical research with practical initiatives—from community-based climate engagement to AI tools that support better political conversations—they address pressing challenges facing modern democracies, including inequality, institutional trust, and the ethical implications of technological change.

Learn more about each of the fellows below, and read about all our opportunities for academics and professionals here.
