Dana Natan-Krup
Dana is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics at Tel Aviv University. Her research focuses on the core mechanisms that contribute to the stability of democratic governance. She conducts theory-driven empirical research on public administration, management and policy, as well as auditing, public accountability, bureaucracy, trust, corruption, and democracy. Dana examines how civic culture and social norms shape institutions responsible for holding public officials accountable and ensuring procedural justice. She also examines how the functioning of these institutions affects citizens’ perceptions of corruption, democratic values, and trust in government.
Dana has held positions as a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Paul Baerwald School of Social Work and Social Welfare at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She received her Ph.D. and M.P.A. from the Department of Public Administration and Policy at the University of Haifa, and holds Bachelors in Economics and Psychology from the Open University.
