Claire Kirwin

Claire Kirwin is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Northwestern University. She works on the nature of value—ethical, aesthetic, and beyond—and the nature of our relationship to it as minded creatures. Her work on these topics is informed by her interests in the history of philosophy, most centrally Plato and Nietzsche. She is currently working on a book, Value Is Real, which develops a new positive argument for value realism.
