Scholar Exchange Fellowship Program
Applications are now closed.
The Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University invites applications from affiliates of our sister center, the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics at Tel Aviv University, who are interested in spending a year in Cambridge, MA. A broad range of researchers who will work over the course of the academic year on pressing issues in ethics are encouraged to apply for this exchange fellowship.
For the 2026-27 academic year, our call is completely open: we will consider any topic pertaining to the serious ethical questions of our time. All eligible applicants will be given careful consideration; priority will be given to outstanding early career scholars and practitioners.
The Exchange Fellow is expected to devote the majority of their time to their individual project(s) and to participate in regular work-in-progress seminars. In addition, Fellows are expected to participate in—and contribute to—the Center's intellectual life, which includes public lectures, themed seminars and reading groups, conferences, workshops, and lunch discussions.
This Fellowship is residential. Fellows are expected to be in residence in the Boston area at least four working days per week during the term with the exception of travel to conferences and meetings.
