Tomer Perry is the Associate Director of Pedagogy at the Center. He received his PhD in Political Science at Stanford University in 2016 and was an Assistant and Associate Professor of Social Sciences and Philosophy at Minerva University from 2019 to 2025. Tomer's research ranges from political theory, primarily democratic theory and global justice, to effective pedagogy and game design. His research has been published in journals like *History of Political Thought*, *Global Justice: Theory, Practice, Rhetoric,* and *Journal of Political Science Education.* Tomer is passionate about developing ideas and experiences that help us explore, articulate and practice the responsibilities and commitments we have as lifelong students and global citizens. He believes that creating engaging and immersive experiences is not opposed to making them deep or profound but rather that these two attributes mutually reinforce each other in a productive, rigorous, critical, compassionate, and thoughtful environment of the kind the Center for Ethics cultivates and seeks to proliferate.

In 2014-15, Tomer was a Visiting Graduate Fellow in Ethics.
