Samy Almshref is a junior concentrating in Philosophy and Economics. He is interested in the philosophy of law and political legitimacy. He is also interested in the intersection of language and politics, particularly in the Arab world. His research at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs focuses on political dissent and its relationship with civil and educational structures in Jordan, Morocco, and Tunisia.
