Maya Cohen

Maya Cohen is a Research and Design Studio Postdoctoral Fellow at the Safra Center whose research focuses on the teaching and practice of civic discourse in American higher education. Since 2020, she has co-led the Intercollegiate Civil Disagreement Partnership (ICDP) Fellowship, a multicampus initiative that teaches students to participate in and facilitate difficult conversations across political difference. In addition to her work with the ICDP, she is currently working on a book about the history of civic discourse instruction on college campuses.
