Lu Wang is the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies in Chemistry, Senior Preceptor in Chemistry and Chemical Biology, and a Crimson Yard Proctor at Harvard College. Having spent nearly two decades at Harvard as both a doctoral student and faculty member, she teaches courses in physical and general chemistry, leads graduate training in scientific pedagogy, and co-directs the department’s Undergraduate Teaching Program. Lu holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard and a B.S. from Peking University, with prior postdoctoral research at MIT focused on nanobiosensors and curriculum design. Recognized with the Star Family Prize for Excellence in First-Year Advising and a 2025 Harvard Hero award, Lu is dedicated to fostering inclusive dialogue and supporting student growth both inside the classroom and within residential life.
