Lina Tori Jan is a Resident Tutor with Eliot House and works with the Harvard Foundation. Outside of Harvard, she serves as a course instructor for the *Leading with Character* online course, created in partnership with the Oxford Character Project. Lina was formerly Assistant Director of the Harvard College Women’s Center. Raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, Lina holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Oxford and a BA in Leadership Studies and Political Science from the University of Richmond.

Lina brings extensive experience in program strategy, social impact policy, and student development. Lina previously led Georgetown University’s *Onward for Afghan Women* initiative and served as an external advisor to the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Afghanistan. She has led high-impact initiatives recognized by the UN, U.S. government, and major foundations — raising millions of dollars in funding, scaling global programs, and providing strategic counsel to senior leaders.
