Gabrielle Demuren

Gabrielle Demuren ’28 is from Howard County, Maryland, pursuing a concentration in Government with a secondary in Sociology. She is passionate about public service, civic engagement, and diplomacy, with academic and professional interests spanning housing affordability, educational equity, social justice, democratic governance, and international affairs. At Harvard, Gabrielle is actively engaged in initiatives that foster dialogue, leadership, and community building. She is excited to continue as a Senior Fellow with ICDP, serves on the Intellectual Vitality Student Advisory Board, and contributes to student affairs and engagement through the Harvard Alumni Association and the Hilles Student Engagement Team. Through these roles, she works to create spaces for meaningful conversation across differences, strengthen campus belonging, and encourage thoughtful engagement with complex social and political issues. Looking ahead, Gabrielle hopes to pursue a career in public service and diplomacy. She is committed to bridging divides and advancing solutions that strengthen communities and expand opportunities for others to lead, serve, and thrive.
