Gabrielle Demuren

Gabrielle Demuren '28 is from Howard County, Maryland, planning to study Government. She is deeply passionate about public service, advocacy, and diplomacy, with a strong commitment to advancing youth empowerment, educational equity, urban housing justice, and civic rights. On campus, Gabrielle serves as a Peer Advising Fellow and is actively involved in the Black Students Association, Harvard Political Review and the Intellectual Vitality Student Advisory Board. Through these roles, she fosters inclusive academic spaces, supports first-year students, and engages in conversations that bridge gaps across diverse communities. She hopes to use the fellowship to further explore how to lead with empathy, build understanding across political divides, and cultivate the skills needed to become a public servant who represents all perspectives with integrity.
