Caleb Levine

Caleb Levine is a junior from Montclair, New Jersey. He is pursuing a degree in Social Studies, and his primary academic interests lie in questions of criminal and redistributive justice. He has conducted historical and policy-oriented research on various facets of American incarceration, including the school-to-prison pipeline, juvenile waiver practices, and debt peonage in the post-Reconstruction South. In the spring of his freshman year, his dual interests in construction and housing justice motivated him to revamp the Harvard chapter of Habitat for Humanity after it fizzled during COVID, which he now co-directs. In his free time, he likes to play ultimate frisbee on Red Line (Harvard’s club team), take pictures, play music with friends, and rock climb.
