Arushi Saxena

Arushi Saxena is a Quantitative Predoctoral Fellow at the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University. She recently earned her Bachelors in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and Masters in Behavioral and Decision Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania, where her research explored how evidence-based policy can strengthen democratic institutions and advance equity. Her thesis on electoral disparities in battleground states furthered her focus on using data-driven insights to inform government practice and strengthen civic engagement. 

Her work lies at the intersection of behavioral science, law, and politics. She has analyzed elections as a Research Fellow for NBC’s Decision Desk, supported mobilization strategy on the Harris presidential campaign, and supported NAACP litigation challenging systemic voting barriers. She has also advanced wrongful conviction casework at the Pennsylvania Innocence Project and, as Curator of TEDxPenn, led the world’s largest student-run TEDx conference. Outside of work, she enjoys playing guitar, going on long walks, and spoiling her golden retriever, Yoda.
