Armando Olea Romero is a Proctor in Oak Yard and works at Harvard Law School. He is a first-generation college graduate and earned his bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies and Chicana/o Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) before earning his master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship from the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). He currently serves as an Assistant Director in the Dean of Students & Community Engagement, Equity, and Belonging Office at Harvard Law School, and as a Proctor for First-Year Students and a Specialty Proctor in Culture and Community at Harvard College. In these roles, he supports undergraduate and graduate students in their academic, professional, and personal development as they navigate their educational trajectories and beyond. Outside of work, Armando enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
