Amelia Bertaska
Amelia Bertaska is a Civil Discourse Pedagogy Associate at the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics. She develops, edits, and curates the center’s university-wide portfolio of civil discourse resources and leads the ICDP fellowship on campus.
Outside the Safra Center, she teaches high school English at an alternative school and is passionate about integrating civil discourse and restorative dialogue into secondary education. Amelia holds a B.A. in English Language and Literature and a minor in Education from Smith College and her M.A. in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education. When she is not in the office or teaching, you can find her practicing yoga, running, in a bookstore, or sitting by the ocean with a Maine lobster roll in hand.
