#  Rita Kirk Selected to Represent the National Science Foundation project on Trust

Visiting Fellow [Rita Kirk](/people/rita-kirk) has been selected as an evaluator to represent the National Science Foundation project on trust. The project being reviewed is the "[Democracy, Governance, and Trust](https://www.transatlanticplatform.com/activities/democracy-governance-trust/)" (DGT) initiative of the [Trans-Atlantic Platform for Humanities and Social Sciences](https://www.transatlanticplatform.com/) (T-AP). The [National Endowment for the Humanities](http://neh.gov/) and the [National Science Foundation](https://www.nsf.gov/) represent the United States in this exciting and dynamic collaboration among countries in Africa, Europe, and North and South America. The purpose of the DGT initiative is to support the very best international collaborations in the humanities and social sciences that examine some aspect(s) of democracy, governance, and trust.
