PPE Society Seventh Annual Meeting featuring past and present ELSCE community members

The Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) Society is hosting their Seventh Annual Meeting. It is set to take place November 2-4, 2023 at the Westin New Orleans. The PPE Annual Meeting will feature individuals from the ELSCE community, both past and present including:
  • Adam Hosein
  • Dimitri Halikias
  • Britta Clark
  • Michael Hannon
  • Quinn White
  • Leah Pierson
  • David O’Brien

We would also like to extend special recognition to our current fellows:

  • Nicholas Vrousalis, who will be presenting his book, "Exploitation as Domination: What Makes Capitalism Unjust," on November 3rd at 3:45 PM. Additionally, he will be a featured speaker in the session titled "Exploring Republican and Cosmopolitan Themes in Marx" on November 2nd at 9:00 AM.
  • César Cabezas, who will deliver a thought-provoking address on "Freedom and Oppression" on November 3rd at 10:45 AM.
  • Chad Lee-Stronach, who will be a featured speaker at the "In Honor of Geoff Brennan" session on November 2nd at 3:45 PM.

Former ELSCE Director and current JHD Faculty Co-Director Danielle Allen will deliver the Keynote Address titled “Justice by Means of Democracy” on November 4th at 5:30 PM.
