New article from Frances Kamm
The Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics is pleased to announce the publication of longtime associate Frances Kamm’s latest article, "Health Policy and Innocent Threats: Abortion and Time Limits, Pandemics and Harm Prevention." The article, published in the journal Social Philosophy and Policy, explores the moral complexities surrounding health policies that involve harm to some in order to protect others, particularly in the contexts of abortion and pandemics. Kamm examines the concept of "morally innocent threats" and its implications for health ethics, addressing issues such as time limits on abortion and distinctions between harm prevention and benefit provision in public health policy
