The Center's Chief Assessment Scientist [David Kidd](/people/david-kidd) and Center Associate [Martino Ongis](/people/martino-ongis) have published a new article titled "The importance of moral fit to expectations of academic and professional wellbeing" in *Frontiers in Psychology*. The open-source article explores the role of moral fit—how well students' personal moral values align with the perceived values of their academic environment—in shaping expectations and engagement in higher education. Across two studies, researchers found that students anticipate better academic, social, and professional outcomes when their values align with those of their institution or course, highlighting the significance of moral fit in academic success and student belonging.
