Lukas Meier publishes peer commentary in The American Journal of Bioethics

Current Fellow-in-Residence Lukas Meier has written an open peer commentary appearing in the March edition of The American Journal of Bioethics. His piece, "Is Treating Permanently Unconscious Patients Futile? Quality of Life Presupposes Conscious Awareness," offers an examination of “Conscientious Objection to Aggressive Interventions for Patients in a Vegetative State,” (Wasserman et al. 2023, 10–21).
