Hsieh and Guidotti Discuss Economic Dignity in New Webinar
Professor Nien-hê Hsieh and Initiative Fellow Tony Guidotti, who lead research into economic dignity as part of the Edmond & Lily Safra Center's Justice, Health & Democracy Impact Initiative, were featured panelists for Inequality and Dignity: An Integral Human Development Approach, a webinar hosted by The Economy of Francesco on August 28. The Economy of Francesco is a community of "young economists from all over the world, invited directly by Pope Francis to start a process of global change so that the economy of today and tomorrow be fairer, inclusive and sustainable." During the webinar, panelists discussed the relationship between inequality and human dignity and how alternative indicators of human flourishing and wellbeing can catalyze progress toward a more humane economy.
