It has been some time since our last entry in the Business AI Ethics blog, and we are excited to begin a new academic year of writing, reflection, and conversation. Much has transpired over these past months in the field of AI governance and ethics, both globally and within our research team.

We are pleased to share that Jeff is authoring a book, *The Boundaries of Tolerance: A New Model for Ethical AI Governance*, supported by this research team, that will be published by Wiley in the spring/summer of 2026. The book builds on the framework that has been at the center of our research efforts and reflects the many conversations we have had with corporate boards, executives, policymakers, and academics around the world. We look forward to bringing many of those ideas into this blog over the coming year as we continue to refine the framework and explore its applications in practice.

We also welcome new and returning members of our research community. Vija Kalniņa, PhD, is our lead researcher, supported by research assistants Lily Noyes and Ryan Wettre. Their voices and perspectives will shape much of what you will see in the months ahead. Already in development are essays on the Trump Administration’s recent America’s AI Action Plan and a summary of a session we co-led on AI strategy, governance, and ethics for healthcare board directors, where our *Boundaries of Tolerance Framework* was front and center.

As always, our goal is to provide a forum for ideas that move beyond principles alone and into the realities of organizational governance, leadership accountability, and ethical responsibility. We remain committed to translating academic insight into actionable guidance for business leaders navigating the challenges of AI adoption.

We thank you for your continued readership and engagement. Please stay tuned for new essays and reflections in the weeks and months ahead, and as always, we welcome your feedback and collaboration.
