Rebecca Brendel Named President-Elect of the Massachusetts Medical Society
Dr. Rebecca Brendel, Director of the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics and former Faculty Fellow at the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics, has been named President-Elect of the Massachusetts Medical Society. She will begin her term as President in June 2026.
A leader in psychiatry and medical ethics, Dr. Brendel has focused on issues at the interface of psychiatry, medicine, law, ethics, and human rights.
