Banaji](https://www.ethics.harvard.edu/people/mahzarin-r-banaji), the Richard Clarke Cabot Professor of Social Ethics in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University and Faculty Associate at the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics, has received the [BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Award](https://www.frontiersofknowledgeawards-fbbva.es) in Social Sciences.

The BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Awards recognize and reward major contributions in science, technology, humanities, and the arts. They honor contributions that expand the frontiers of knowledge or bridge disciplines. Best known for co-developing the [Implicit Association Test (IAT)](https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/takeatest.html), Banaji is recognized for reshaping our understanding of unconscious bias, attitudes, and beliefs—impacting fields ranging from political science to AI ethics.
