Former Fellow-in-Residence [Dr. Katherine Peeler](https://bioethics.hms.harvard.edu/faculty-staff/katherine-peeler) has been selected as a [Greenwall Faculty Scholar](https://greenwall.org/faculty-scholars-program/our-faculty-scholars/katherine-r-peeler-md-ma). This program will begin in the upcoming academic year and supports faculty whose work bridges bioethics research and real-world impact in health care, public policy, and beyond.

From 2022 to 2023, Dr. Peeler served as a Fellow at the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics and as a Fellow-in-Residence at the Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University. During the 2023–2024 academic year, she continued her affiliation with the Center for Ethics as a Justice, Health, and Democracy Impact Initiative Research Fellow, where her research focused on the ethical implications of solitary confinement in immigration detention.
