[Danielle Allen](https://www.ethics.harvard.edu/people/danielle-allen), former Director of the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics and current Faculty Associate at the Center, participated in a debate with far-right writer Curtis Yarvin on Monday at the Harvard Faculty Club. Organized by Passage Publishing and the John Adams Society, the event was neither sponsored nor endorsed by Harvard University. The conversation stood out for its civil tone despite deep ideological divides on governance and democracy: while Allen defended reform within democratic systems, Yarvin called for a total reimagining of government.

Despite its unofficial status, the event drew significant attention for fostering constructive dialogue.
