Current Fellow-in-Residence [Victor Kumar](https://www.ethics.harvard.edu/people/victor-kumar) has recently posted a new Substack article, titled ["The Left's Intellectual Crisis."](https://openquestionsblog.substack.com/p/the-lefts-intellectual-crisis) By examining the growing intellectual crisis within progressive thought, Kumar critiques how ideological tribalism, groupthink, and an unwillingness to engage with opposing views have led the Left to political failures and an alienation of key voters.

The post calls for progressives to break free from their ideological echo chambers, critically reassess their positions, and engage in open dialogue with opponents. As Kumar puts it, "To reclaim intellectual honesty and rebuild our political future, we must transform closed orthodoxies into open questions."
