Research & Publications
Much of the intellectual work of the Center happens in conversations over lunch or dinner among fellows and faculty. These exchanges foster collaborations that extend beyond the fellowship year and across fields of interest. To extend these feasts of the mind to our alumni, the Harvard community, and a wider audience, we offer two new forums of exchange.
Current Fellows and Center Faculty will on occasion contribute a brief argument to the Prandial Philosophy Post on some topic raised in our public lectures, lunch seminars, or coffee-break discussions of ethics in the news. Our current and past affiliates are invited to submit longer works-in-progress to Revise & Resubmit, a series of working papers in ethics.
Revise & Resubmit: Working Papers in Ethics
The published works of the fellows and faculty are among the Center's most important contributions, adding to the philosophical discourse on many critical issues, including those that influence public policy. Fellows and faculty have been honored for their work (including a Nobel prize and a Pulitzer prize), and several have been pioneers in the ethics of medicine, law, business, and government. See a partial listing of books and articles that have been influenced by time spent at the Center.
